Ug, I'm already counting down and starting my Christmas stitching, I'm gonna have tired fingers by Christmas.

As for what I'm hoping for, besides more stitching supplies I wanna nice quiet time with my Husband and lottsa kisses.

Cross stitching and lotsa of it ! I have some model stitching to do and lottsa Christmas stitching, I'm giving stitching as gifts for the first time ever.  I am a little nervous about it and hope the gifts will be well received.

I've got well over 150 hours of Christmas stitching along with the obligation stitching to do, luckily I've got Q-snaps to make my life easier.

What kinda stitching do you do and what kinda stash are you hoping for for Christmas?

cross stitch and quilting. but i don't want anything til imove cause otherwise i'll have to pack it all and it'll be 2 yrs before i see it again!

i like my snap frame too, but its packed, lol

u heared the method of doig it where u work on it 30 min a day for a week or so then put it away and do another project the same way? that way u don't get bored and forget about it

i wouldn't mind my mom sending me x-stitch flosses from the states for xmas - 25 cents at walmart, sigh.... i didn't have a chance to properly stock up when i was there last. do you get your rellies to send them for you?? and the fabric! sigh, i just about cry when i go to the shops there and its sooooo cheap. my mom says to quit telling htem that or they'll jack the prices up, lol

I do rotation stitching, but with bigger blocks of time.  Luckily my OCD doesn't let me get bored stitching on one peice, I actually have a hard time tucking one away to work on the next.

I work at a stitching shop now so I just get what I need there, but before I found the place I was getting desperate for stitching stuff, it's hard to find here.

I can't get over the costs of things here either, I priced just a chart alone at 51 Aussie $, that's without fabbie or floss !  I just about fell over !  Stitching isn't cheap for non Americans.

Are you going to go without stitching for two years?  I went for 4 years without when I first met my Husband, I really missed it. What will keep you sane if your not stitching?
