I am trying to choose a mentor and have an idea of what I need, but would really appreciated some input from the members who post here?

One has come recommended by another sub, and I value this input. Others have contacted me via email.

Does anyone have guidance for me on this?

Many thanks.

Look for someone who listens to you and respects you.

My motto is to not limit yourself to one mentor, just listen to everyone and then decide what works best for you.

As long as you know you can trust your judgement to know who is a good person in your life, then you will be fine. If you don't think you can trust your own judgement, then don't even think about having a mentor until you do.

Based on My personal experience...know this will upset some..but it is what it is..Most "mentors" have their own self interest in mind...they advise then as soon as it is appropriate the sub is being done by them...it takes a few months but it happens...more than a dozen cases...not saying all are like this...

past conversations...o yeah...well I played with my mentor on the weekend..I was kinda down and he was there...ect..
