Wow, that is early. When did you put the tree/decorations up?

Dont feel bad, Juliet. I took my down yesterday.

However, my Christmas lights will probably spend another year right where they did last year...hanging across the front of my porch.

Would someone like to come take mine down?  I can't do it alone bc of the back situation I have going on.  I'm tired of it and really want it gone now.

I put mine up about 4 days before Christmas. I was tired of it within about 2 days of having it up. Of course, I also have three small UMs and a few nephews running around so whenever the tree is up my entire day is spent running around going "INSERTNAMEHERE! Get away from there!"

Hats off to both of you! I can barely keep up with myself and two sluggish tabbies.

If it were up to me, I never would have3 put anything up, and if I was forced to, like, I was, by my roomate, it all gets taken down on the 26th.

Hey, Trapped! How are you?

My one Christmas decoration this year was a wreath that was still up from last year.

I do have to give my family members credit this year though..

They didn't want any decorations on the tree other than lights.

Course,... then they wanted the lighted garland around an archway I have in my living room... and those darn iscicle lights on the OTHER side of that arch - just so they'd hang down below the lighted garland... and lights in the window of the living room - not on the outside, but inside - a scant 5 feet from the arch way... and well...

it felt like I should either be wearing sun glasses or breaking into a rousing rendition of VIVA LAS VEGAS!!

But the tree was super simple to be done with - once I figured out where all the light connectors were.

And we put it up 3 days before christmas...and I have to say, it was up 3 days too long in my opinion - even though I DO love christmas.

I mean look... old dog + tree... let's just say it was more than time to go. The math was pretty simple.

Hey dc!!!  I'm great, how are you?

Well, actually, I'm waiting until I can get out of here and return to civilization, truth be told.

Just a few more days, kitten - then you can trade the idiocy and banality of family life for the idiocy and banality of work, right?

I'm good, thanks. Christmas was pleasant but tiring, so I'm enjoying a do-nothing day today.

Well thank you, but what brought that on? (I've been so brilliant in so many ways recently I like to know what I'm being complimented for) - surely not for pointing out something so obvious as the whole home/work dilemma.
