The fact that I ended each recipe with "feel arteries harden and enjoy shortened lifespan" should be a clue as to how I feel about cruellers and most deep-fried pastry with such a high surface to mass ratio. Beignets all the way, especially live-culture sourdough with lemon curd filling. Today's resurrection play: What's your most dangerous scene... Stephann brought it up in another thread, and dammit, it's too good to let die. I'd really like to read you guys'...
