Status: offline 		The fact that I ended each recipe with "feel arteries harden and enjoy shortened lifespan" should be a clue as to how I feel about cruellers and most deep-fried pastry with such a high surface to mass ratio. Beignets all the way, especially live-culture sourdough with lemon curd filling.

Today's resurrection play: What's your most dangerous scene... Stephann brought it up in another thread, and dammit, it's too good to let die. I'd really like to read you guys'...

Deep fried?  well look at all the veggies that taste so much better, dipped in butter milk then dreged in flour, then into the beer batter and then  into the cracker crumbs; not fried in oil but rather lard.  High surface to mass but I think the gravey puts them into the hardening arteries catagory LOL
