I understand about the mini-rant. Add to that, I think that both sides of the dynamic often times expect WAY to freakin' much out of a first meet (or is it too little). As far as my thinking goes, You are an adult, you know what to do, just get it done. You know if you are thirsty or hungry or need the caffine or whatever.

Hmm I'm with you on this. A first meet should be something like a first date, or a vacation. Sight-seeing, light conversation, some flirtation. Nothing too heavy (meaning sexual/arousing/kinky/etc). I'm the type of girl who likes to pay for her stuff, but if you insist on paying for lunch, I will pay for dinner.
Personally Im the type that feels that chicks shouldnt have to pay for anything. ever. I used to smoke cigarettes for a few years. I know..extreamly bad habit. bleh. bad me..anyway..in two years I think I might have bought 3 packs total?. Then theres booze. Chicks never have to buy booze. Go to a bar (hunt around for the ladies get in free nights and you wont have to pay for cover either). Act drunk (yea I know, you havent had anything yet, but guys are always more willing to buy drinks for chicks who are allready snockered). Hell, I used to date for dinner in my younger single and broke days. Of course, Im also the type to usually fuck on the first date too. shrugs.
