True story: So, I am at the Vets yesterday because of the fisking dog. I finally agree to get the arsehat neutered, and the Vet asks if I have ever crated him. I replied, that yes when he and his brother were puppies, but they made such a mess with knocking over their food bowls is wasn't worth putting them in a cage. But yes, I have a cage for him. Cue horrified expressions A DEN A DEN IT'S A DEN! At this point I am a bit confused. See, apparently it is no longer PC to refer to the rectangular cubey thingie that you put an animal in, as a CAGE. You are supposed to refer to them as "crates" or "dens." No kidding, I am not making this up. Now, I have a really cool vet, and so we are laughing about this, as I look at him and say, "You are joking, right?" Nope. So, I am wondering at what point in the BDSM lexicon the term cage is going to change to crating or denning? "I was once kept in a den for 48 hours." Yeah, well that does not sound to kinky. Although, you could say it in front of your dear old granny. Euphamisms are getting out of hand. So, anyway, I need to go pick up the dog, bring him home, and shove him in his cage.
