Judgements, prejudices, the need to vilify others, the holier than thou attitudes .... it is upsetting. I click on a thread hoping to learn, and I do .... but not about what I would like to learn about.

*sigh*

Has anyone else watched 'Hot Fuzz'? I love that movie. Complete silliness.

that's kinda what brought me to this thread to begin with..... I have always tried to be a pretty decent human being, and usually responded to questions with that intent. but there are more than a few idiots out there willing to push my buttons and grt me all riled up! lol

Status: offline 		I have now formally abandonded responding to posts in other areas.  It is not worth it.  I just spent FOREVER typing out a response to a thread to send to the OP directly in CMail.  The misogyny is rampant out there from both the men and the women.  What in the world is up with that. 

I think that I need to borrow Kali's Uzi. 

Let me just explain something here, asshole or bastard isn't a gender-specific insult used to keep one gender traditionally in their place for acting like the other one.

Such as: BITCH.

I don't like assholes of either gender.

Another thing I really don't like is using sexism to justify being one. I have seen several examples of blaming the behavior of one gender on the the other.  (men acting like monkeys because of the inconsistencies of women, I believe one was)

I'll tell you one thing, a bitch never blames her decisions on other people, let alone MEN. Whereas I think assholes pretty much generally try to pin their shit on everybody else around them. Imagine..."I'm sorry I told that asshole to step off, but he MADE me do it." Oh man...that's taking all the FUN out of it. The art, the grace of the well-honed comeback. Geez, I get depressed just thinking about giving the credit to someone else.

End of rant.  I just am not sure how much more of this I can keep inside.
