ORIGINAL: Lumus For you, Ron, sure. I was served some by a few local friends when I lived out west, in Alberta. None of us knew what it was, and truth, the host could have been lying through his teeth. However, that's what they said it was, and frankly...meh, not very good, indeed. It was a loooong time ago, but you don't forget certain tates, like you don't forget certain scents... > Edited to add: Yes, Alberta is landlocked; however it also trades with British Columbia, which lies aside a lovely ocean. And when I say locals I mean Natives, who traded quite often and always had something new and exotic to show us when we visited... *sigh* I LOVE Alberta.... btw, do you see many moose in Alberta? Been a few decades since I was out that way, but yeah, we saw moose down in our southern region of the province; up north you'd spy caribou. Recently, here, in Ontario, I've seen a few deer running across the golf courses. Strange to see but somehow fitting, especially when the snow is a touch over ankle deep and you see these graceful beasts lope over wide open ground... *grumbles* Which reminds me of the naked guy who used to run across the golf courses. Give me the deer any day!
