Oooooooo , bear, thought of you tonight! Had dinner in the city and was driving around downtown when I saw a bar with the rainbow sign on it. My oldest monster wanted to know what that meant and I just about fell apart laughing. (His aunt and partner live in San Francisco near Haight-Ashbury!) But if you ever get out this way, I can now recommend a good bar....

We are planning on getting into VA circa 7ish, all things considered. Since I am driving one never knows if there will be delays, but thats 11 hours from when we set off.
Dinner at 7ish work for everyone?

Had an absolutely yummy dinner at one of the best Japanese restaurants in town, bear!! I'm so stuffed its not even funny. Thankfully it's all healthy and no junk so I don't have to worry but ohhhhhhhhh - I'm a-thinking of another early night.

Trapped, if you are in DC proper, you're a bit of a hike away from where we are meeting. (About an hour's drive) However, Daddy and I make it to DC somewhat on the regular so we can always make plans to hook up there and maybe go to the club sometime, too.

DV, are you meeting dc in DC Thursday? If trapped is there, she's just a matter of minutes away. However, if you want to come with us, awesome! I'm looking forward to meeting you, too, trapped. =)

One day, I had Him on my cell phone and Thing 1 on the regular phone and was trying to remember who I was answering first. I replied to Thing 1, "Hi, Buddy! How's it going?" Daddy didn't know I was talking to Thing 1 and said, "Buddy? Excuse me? Little girl, since when do you ever call me Buddy?" I started laughing, which didn't help matters, and quickly tried to explain that I wasn't being disrespectful, I was talking to my rugrat on the other phone. He suggested that I stop trying to multi-task and take one call at a time.
