Go, All Blacks! (NZ's national rugby team) *woot-woot*

I went to one of their home games once.

They lost to England, alas.

You're too awesome...   [:)]

Well, I need to go to sleep now so I can dream of unfortunate mishaps and my boss' foot.  Night night...

Night red.

Just a thought... perhaps a tire-less bicycle wheel, with the rims serrated, might do a nice job on the offending foot? The narrow guage of the wheel, combined with the added pointage, might result in a much sharper pain than a simple flattening of all the bones.

I think I'm turning in as well. Good night to the rest of the Arghonauts flittering and/or pouncing about.

A brief, humble request, from an occasional Candy lurker;

Please label candy appropriately.  I HATE black jelly beans, so someone handing me a small bag marked 'jelly beans' but filled with black ones leaves a bad taste in my mouth :(

There's "Female" "Male" "Couple" and "Trans" I'd think.

Thank you so much!

Stephan

camille65 -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (4/17/2008 5:20:57 AM)

I think its neurological. She trembles and loses her balance, sometimes its like when you walk into a cobweb and you dip sideways a bit?Her legs cross and she tips over and she fell off the bed yesterday. Its come on pretty fast. She is 12. She is my best friend.

Wolfandkitten -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (4/17/2008 5:27:40 AM)

i know its hard kitten and i lost three dogs over the space of one year an 8 year old rottie to cancer
a 5 year old lab who swallowed a ball and never recovered from surgury and a four year old beagle mix who was kittens soul-pup that got hit by a car.....its never easy but you gotta take her to the vet shes givin you 12 years of love and companionship you gotta do whats right for her and if shes suffering you have to make the hardest choice there is....and in your heart you know it.

i apologize if i sound crass but ive had dogs all my life and ive been there

my deepest sympathies,

Wolf

I've had two dogs display symptoms like you've described.  One had gotten into anti-freeze somehow and we were able to put him down before he really had to suffer, the other was diagnosed as a diabetic, two shots a day and she's fine.

Its better to know what your up against so you can decide how much your beloved pet has to suffer before it becomes an actual decision you have to make.

Keeping you and your beloved furry friend in my thoughts,
Haven

SadistsSeeking -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (4/17/2008 5:41:37 AM)

camille,

Look inside her ears.  Are they possibly full of black matter?  She might have mites in her ears which can block her eustation tubes causing the same imbalance disorder as humans get form an ear infection.  Yes, her age is a factor, but if you do see a black mucky substance, try Q-tips and a mite removal product.  Usually found at your local pet shop or even walmart/k-mart.

camille65 -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (4/17/2008 5:46:21 AM)

SS I just checked her ears, she has giant floppy ones so she is prone to infection. They look and smell clear but maybe it is deeper than I can see. I am hoping it is infection doing this. When the office opens I am calling to get her in today or tomorrow.
