Thanks..... We're going shopping tonight or tomorrow, I think I'm gonna add sultanas and porridge to the list. [:D] I was going to wait for cooler weather but I got a craving NOW.....

Good Morning angel and LadyRain. In the note of hot porridge, that was a staple brekkie item when I grew up and still enjoy a steaming bowl now and then. Oh LadyRain, If there's a Bulk Barn near you, you'll be able to pick up rolled oats cheaper then at grocery store!

Mmmmmm, got several of them around here, Bear..... I've actually been afraid to go in them because I don't know if I can get out of there without going crazy and buying stuff like there's no tomorrow! [:D]

That's where I've been buying white sugar and my coffee whitener , it's way cheaper than the bagged sugar in grocery stores!

[:-] Ohhhhhh, but sugar is sooooo much cheaper here! I was in shock to see the price of a 2 kilo bag of sugar, which is the equivalent of a 5 pound of sugar. You're paying almost half the price that I was in the states. Even at the store. What in the world are you paying at Bulk Barn?????

The last time I got about 3.5 lbs of sugar at the bulk barn for about $2.56 for the lot.

SIGHS cant have real sugar in My house anymore. My daughter is diabetic , so its Splenda or Equal.
