coughcoughtrampcoughcough... good morning sis!
Donna, my day was a lot better than i anticipated. my um is just as angelic as her mummy. she had a meet with her year advisor and the vice principal after her religion teacher talked to her about her exam plans. she got teary because they got teary and they asked me to make an appt. i called kidlet back, stole her from school and took her to lunch and got it all out of her. made an immediate appt with advisor/principal duo.
long story short. they'd already been calling around several places to look for temporary housing for us. have found one happy to have us for the 6 weeks til her exams are over for the same money i'm paying now, but with no long term lease agreements. now um and i are discussing which options are best for her, and that includes what is least stressful.
h/mates will give me two weeks notice and if y'all can pray that they don't find a place until i need to move, would be vy grateful, lol...
so i still need to look for employment though obviously can't really get a job up here to be fair to employers, i still need to pack up a 2-3 b/rooms worth of stuff - and get rid of half of it, and need to figure out whether i can still keep up my research studies and have any hope of getting a moderate grade or whether i will end up failing.
many many choices to make yet.
however, i'm going out to a hen's night dinner tomorrow and visiting a g/friend who's hosting me (it's her daughter's party). so will get a little bit of relaxation in anyways.
so. my guardian angels are looking out for me, and stress levels reduced a little.
