Status: offline 		Good morning Arghonauts! A new work week begins... new challenges to face.

No cats here to worry about. One of my housemates is allergic to their fur so that puts an end to that. There are birds here though and one of them needs to go to its vet today; it has a ruptured or broken blood feather or two, clotted over at the moment, that may need to be surgically removed. There's nothing like waking up and finding a mostly white bird covered in dried blood from the overnight. :-/

A dog lives here as well. It, too, is mostly white but luckily it does not have any dried blood on it (though, as vigorously as it's chewing on itself, I'm surprised).

With all this animal excitement thus far today, I don't think I could deal with cats. Actually, cats and I generally don't get along anyway; there seems to be a clash of personalities.

Status: offline 		Thanks Greedy, but it'll have to be a pretty unique kitty. My brother has two of the creatures which hiss and spit at me, and that's been going on since the first moment I walked through "their" front door. My sister also had cats a few years ago; same response from them.

I just don't get the whole cat mystique, which is fine. I've got the pup and birds, which is plenty.

It looks like it'll be great weather... cloudless skies, slight breezes, low humidity, plenty of sunshine and temps in the upper 70s ~ lower 80s. Chamber of commerce weather some call it.

Plenty of good weather for when you're done with all of those indoor things. :-D

Status: offline 		Thanks Greedy, but all I should give back are ***snugglehugs***... I've got a bit of a scratchy throat.

Dumbshit that I am didn't turn on the heat pump's heating coils during the day yesterday, with the house's windows fully open, in order to burn off the dust, feathers, dog hair, and whatever accumulated on them over the past month (since the unit was last professionally cleaned). Instead, I get the lovely smell of that burnt stuff wafting through the house during the overnight, setting off the damned smoke detectors.

Every year I go through this. You think I would have learned by now.
