Damn, here I thought all this time it was just a quirk in spelling be people in different localities! Canadians spell their whisky with the "E" even on the label of our own brand.

Tammad was actually one of the first people to implement age-security online... That's what's probably tweaking the image linking. But you have the text version of the URL - just c+p.

If I'm looking for a static site that gives a pretty decent overview on WIITWD to recommend to a beginner, chances are I'm passing on his site. I had a number of email conversations with him about adapting the very femsub shibari tutorials to malesub and self-bondage applications. And I have to say that he was an amazingly brilliant man, even if he and I disagreed with the place of Gorean literature in the BDSM community.

I think I can safely recommend just about everything on the site as being worth the time and effort to look at. There are only a few other BDSM sites out there I can say the same for - CRAM/MorTis, RopeLover (though I still think of her as DadaPoet <sigh>), LuvBight, PlanetMidori, Greydancer's Ropecast, Jimi Tatu, Randa Mai, and a couple more people I'm blanking on at the moment... Odd that all of them have a heavy emphasis on ropeplay.

Well, not so odd I guess: I'm such a complete and utter ropewhore.

Augmentation: just got off the phone with the accountant that my bosses' use for doing the payroll for the restaurant they own and the tax service that I'm teaching the class for. Seems they picked up the pay checks for the restaurant, but forgot the 1 check for the tax service... i.e. mine.

I'm feeling so tempted to behave badly today and cancel class and just be a monster. And then tell D~ to move stuff over in the trunk of her car to make room for a suitcase...

But that's horribly irresponsible and just plain Not Right.

<sigh>

So yeah, I'm in a state of emotional flux...

Tammad's PGP... not that useful these days. He died in 2000. Thus it's STATIC content that I link to when I recommend things on ms.ha.md.us...

I've also noticed something: I'm more surrounded by the dead than I'd previously thought. My parents, one of my best friends, a couple of lovers, the guy who showed me that there's more to bondage than Klaw's photos, the guy who gave me my first piercing, 2 guys who introduced me to audio production and field recording.

other than grandies and most recently my father, i'm fortunately still surrounded with living friends and relatives. occasionally when i'm really cranky at him, i ponder the thought of the ex being one of the departed. however, he's still one of the walking dead.
