Status: offline 		ok...I used to get my nails done all the time....some evidence can be seen in various pictures you may or may not have seen of me.  However, right before I went back to work, when money was tight I quit getting my nails done, having pedicures and quit cutting my hair (I used to spend a fair amount of money on those luxuries).  So, I finally gave in and started cutting my hair again (loving it) but still feel I want money for acrylics and pedicures to go to oh, food and electric right now *S*.

Some time ago (while I still had acrylics), my mother in law gave me a nail buffer...I kinda looked at my husband and said "wtf?"  I had no idea what she expected me to do with this thing.  So, I just chunked it away with all the other left over polish and stuff I had from before acrylics.  Yesterday, I needed to clip my nails (I keep em extra short for the Lil Miss) and I found the buffer.  So I thought, since I'm not doing acrylics anymore....why not?  I can't begin to tell you how shiny my nails are now!  It's insane.  I had no idea.  It looks like I have a clear coat on em.  All those lil ridges we get....not there.  They are smooth and unbelieveably shiny!  I'm shocked.

Now (I'd giggle here if I could...I'm not a giggler...I'm a big hearty laugh sorta gal) I'm hoping, secretly, that they remain shiny for tomorrow.  This is the prettiest my nails have looked since the last time I had acrylics done. 

So....there we go.

Status: offline 		I still get acrylics, its one of the things I HAVE to do...well...so Sir says anyway...if I dont have acrylics on, I bite my nails really badly, to the point my fingers are bleeding...But I use a buffing pad on my toe nails, and you are right, it does make them ultra smooth and shiny. Mine arent too expensive, I think I spend about $30 a month on my nails.

ghita, u just described me to "T"! but sometimes I even will crack the acrylics in my teeth well.. I'm just a wee bit oral...

regarding fingernails...yeah...I tend to mess with mine too.  I'm an oral sorta gal also.  My fingers always look nicer when I have acrylics.  And I will, if they start to get lift, bite em off....but I only do that when I know I'm not going back for fill in.  between hair, fingers and toes I was spending a pretty good bit.  lot more than $30 a month....but I'm picky about my hair and I always get a pretty design on my toe *S*

Status: offline 		the foot guys I know, only want to suck on my toes...they don't really want to put the work into a real pedicure.  Find a really good submissive or slave...he'll take care of your feet properly. 

I suggest getting a couple of pedicures professionally first...so you can see what goes into it, then reproduce it at home.  Go to a reputable place that you know is sanitizing between clients!

No, it's the MINUTE after tax filing deadline...

speaking of which: I have the joy of heading in to the office to field calls on the small business tax clinic I'm required to have. And gee, good thing the accountant worked out my paycheck, isn't it?
