Anyway, a violet wand is meant to be static electricity only, but since it technically does plug into a wall outlet....120V....depending on the amount of resistance the person you are using it on (or yourself if you use the little hand held thing to pass the static charge through your body and out your hand or other toys).....say a typical body...has about 100,000 ohms of resistance....120V divided by 100,000 ohms = 1.2mA....which is only about the threshhold of feeling, a slight tingly feeling. But say youve alreayd been through a pretty intense scene, are all hot and sweaty, and your high heels were hurting so you are now barefoot. Your resistance to ground could be as low as 1000ohms. Now, calculate that at 120V divided by 1000 ohms = 120mA which is leathal shock, capable of producing ventricullar fibrillation and death
