Status: offline 		*hugs up Angel back*  Its one of my favorites...especially the song that Andie McDowell sings...I know it by heart...hehe...and I love a man who smells like cookies and yells out, "battle!"...though, I always thought it was Gabriel who was the archangel that did battle...

dc - the movie just is wretched.  I love Jimmy Stewart, but he's so awful in that movie.  Not to mention it is black and white.  I don't really care for any black and white movie...they hurt my eyes strangely enough, because of my eye condition.

Not sure how well Red wings are gonna do this year but I can tell Chicago black hawks still suck. I'm a fan of Well was a fan until Mario Lumixew left was the Penguins. Now I really don't have a favorite team

I agree that Life is a tad schmaltzy and manipulative. But I'm still fond of it.

Status: offline 		Oh, NJL, I love my hockey!  I'm from Micigan, I have to!  I miss the old team I must say, with Shanaham, Lindstrom,Yzerman - old school but still at their peak.  Those days are gone...but, I do love Oswald...

I really just like watching hockey, so I will go to some of the Caps games...but, there is nothing like my Red Wings...and nothing like throwing an octopus on to the ice after a win...

Status: offline 		OMG Your a true hardcore fan.. *Just fall in love with Trapp* I love hockey though I don't watch it too often. I rather play it. hehe Since I been playing sinceI was 18 months old.  I wish I still played but the sport is to $$ for me to keep up with. And Yes I to do miss the Old school hockey. I think these new rules are kinda of made the game wussy style. I don't know I just don't like it.

dc - thanks for the concern...it's just lattice degeneration, meaning that the lattices that keep my retinas attatched are degenerating, and when coupled with my nearsightedness (meaning my retinas are thinning at the edges), it just means I have a 60% chance of my retinas detatching...and a blind museum curator just doesn't work...so, I try my best to take care of my eyes...which means...no contacts...but I have a really ridiculous question about that...when I finally do actually get to scene or play...do I still wear my glasses, or take them off and be blind?

And the octopus thing is a red wing thing...when they win a big game, we throw them out.  I have no idea...but, if you google red wings and octopus, you will probably find pictures of them thrown on the ice....

Status: offline 		Trapped'... I'm sorry to hear about your eyes. Perhaps being blindfolded may offer the best protection, 'cause you're not trying to focus on anything? I don't really know, but just a guess...

As for the octopi tossing... it's been going on a while. I remember them chucking the beasts in great numbers back in the mid '90s, and was wondering who the hell supplied all of them. :)

Status: offline 		Well, the octopi are real...just...dead.  A weird tradition, I know...but one we embrace and love!


Well, the good thing about my retinas detatching is that they can put them back on, so I'm not too worried...I just have to take good care of my eyes and suffocating them with contacts is apparently not taking care of them...I still miss em though.

Blindfolded might work.  I just think that would get old for both he and I.  I hate not being able to see, but at the same time, don't want anything to happen to my glasses...but I don't really need to worry because at the rate I am going, I will never do any of it...
