Status: offline 		Needle play: if you have problems with the level of pain involved with an injection, then yes... it's a legitimate hard limit. At the same time, the needles that are often used for play are 28ga... very very thin. Also, for a first time out trying things, stick with very surface piercings much like what you see in the pictures. It can give you a good idea of how you'll do with deeper piercings and/or larger needles.

Personally, I don't like shallow sticks like those normally - it just feels like I'm getting cut and not stuck... It's a credit to D's skill that it worked as well as it did.

Status: offline 		When I was an um, I was constantly at the doctor's getting tetanus shots for various injuries and being injected was a piece of cake. Usually I'll watch as they inject the needle in my arm. Nurses used to think I was morbid when I gave blood as I'd watch them insert the syringe though they'd always tell me to look away. Found it fascinating watching the needle enter my arm and then watching the bag fill up with blood!
