this almost looks like clear carnival glass...although ive never seen it clear before..the irredescent quality is usually in a color....

Ive also got a few neat blown glass peices here, kinda greenish...

I am currently sitting surrounded by some really neat stuff...none of which I think is actually worth much...well...except for one peice which Trapped is doing some research on for me....My entire office is filled with boxes of stuff a friend of my Sirs has been collecting since the 1940's.....the majortiy of it is fossills and indian artifacts, and I can appraise most of that stuff myself along with my Sirs help...although there are a few peices that I hope to GOD arent fakes although Im unfortunantly pretty sure they are and I need a better loupe or something....but there are also piles of other things he has picked up along lifes way..some civil war artifacts, some trade period spanish stuff, old bottles, postcards from the 20's and before, some ceramic doll peices, some anceint film reels....and he expects me to be able to put all this on ebay?? I have no idea what half the stuff is...and I cant really come up with a base to know what its worth until I do some research on all of it. Most of it is junk I think, but I dont wanna miss that one truly spectacular item among all the junk.....

Status: offline 		I posted links to a few pictures of the bottle in question a few threads back...I dont know how good of a quality they are, I have dial up so posting huge pictures takes forever so I have to shrink them to get my computer to upload them. If youd like bigger pics I can try. I havent taken pics of the green bottles yet.

Its one of the ones Im really really praying is authentic but I think Im about to have to conceed it looks like it might have touched a grinding wheel at some point in its life. I think Im gonna call in outside help on this peice too but luckily I have tons of contacts in this feild...

Its a carved hardstone pendant...the color isnt perfect in these pictures..somehow it came out a bit greenish but its not....

Status: offline 		Your bottle appears to be a carnival glass perfume bottle...I inherited quite a bit of the stuff, both the antique and the reproductions from conventions and other sources, and researching some of the less common items is a pain in the behind.  David Doty has a carnival glass website *edited to add that his research on patterns in carnival glass is superb*, or you could do an online search for "carnival glass perfume bottle" to see what you could find.  Lots of various carnival glass is for sale on ebay or glass or antique websites (although most of the stuff for sale is in excellent rather than very used condition, so can be hard to price if it's not fabulous in condition), and there's always the huge personal investment of books on the subject.  Good luck.
