No rain... not a single drop... lots of clouds, which is good because the temp right now is only 71 F (I, too, may work my way outside to take advantage of this nice sunless and cool weather)... but still no rain.

Not sure what it is outside here but the house got down to below 60 overnight. I turned the heat on for a few to warm it up in here. Brrrrrrrrr

We've got a huge percentage for rain today too... but so we did yesterday, and the day before... we're lumped in with the rest of the Orlando metro area as far as weather is concerned, but in reality, our immediate local area is nowhere close to being that similar. While close in distance, we're so far about meteorologically that it gets really irksome to even listen/watch the local weather forecasts.

I spoke with our local cooperative extension agent a few months back, and he just chuckled. Apparently, our immediate local area has much in common with a desert climate and not much with the rest of what is perceived by most to be Florida weather. At this point, I can see why they say that.

Oh well... so much for my mini-weather rant... I actually do like this cooler weather, but we do so badly need the rain too.

Um I got lost there. Haha.
and nothing fun about travel 5 hours down soth of ILL and then comming home notice that your in Iowa. Since Ill South and Iowa have farm feilds for thousand of miles, it was not fun at all. Now I do blame me for getting lost. But I still like to blame Iowa for looking the same as ILL. :)

Sappa, it depends on what you want to find here. Many come here and never turn back to where they are from. Iowa is a great place to live in my opinion. I really can't think of anywhere else I would want to live. Except for maybe where we visited in WI. Now thats pretty country.

Cuff's I think you may be the only person I've ever heard of first hand who actually lives in Iowa. That alone though makes the state quite worthwhile. Its the realm and land 'o cuffs. lol

Haha Cuff, Well that might be true, But Look at the North of Ill Chicago, Citys and more Citys, and all around awesomeness, You go south borning corn feild. So much corn. I think it's the one time I seen more corn then in my family Thanksgiving dinner

It is spelled I O W A, if you are going to be insulting, get it right. And not all of Iowa is corn ya know. We do have cities. Shocking, I know. Some are pretty good sized and house a lot of history. OH and why do so many states take the test of IOWA basic skills? Cuz its one of the best tests out there. I really hate judgemental people who decide on a few factors about something and don't ever really give it a chance. Iowa is rich with history and has a few landmarks that are found in only one or two other places. For instance the Loess Hills. I belive the only other occurance of this phenomenon is over seas, can't remember the country. I will have to google it. I don't know how many times I have talked to people that have even just stopped here to get gas and they said that we are some of the nicest people they have ever met.
I guess what I am trying to say here is don't judge a book by its cover. Read a few chapters, you may really be surprised.
On that note I am off to shower and get ready so that we can run our errands.
