As far as gourmet popcorn mail order goes, I might just do that. I've been looking for ways to build "cottage industries" that could be portable *if* I make a move to points north. I know that I have a standing job offer to be a pastry bitch at a certain restaurant near Her house, but that's still a pretty big time commitment... So I'm thinking of something smallish that'd bring income yet not take as much time as commuting to the City. The ingredients I mentioned earlier are pretty easy to find at a Paki/Indian grocery - just melt the ghee (aka slightly browned clarified butter) and dust the popcorn with the seasoning powders in place of salt.

Status: offline 		Definitely go the cottage industry route IMO, pastry bitch will get used hard by the evil restaurant Mistress.
Do know of a former pastry bitch that managed to break the evil restaurant mistress cycle by doing the bread baking instead.  Bread baking, wow, on an Acme, La Brea masterery level is blissful.  She would come in at like 3 or 4 am - do the baking - no one else there to bug her whilst doing her artistry. and by 9 or 10 am she was done and out the door.  Niiice.

But the whole cottage industry thing can really work well.  And you can add on products.
