Ok, heres a Q for all you knowledgeable ones here. A few summers ago I dislocated my third right posterier rib, don't ask cuz I don't know how. Well the last 3 days now it has been really acting up. I think its the weather change. I am taking as little as I can of some meds I have, but I hate how they drug me up and asprin and the like aren't strong enough. Is there anything I can do short of seeing a DR to ease the muscle tightness and that?

eStim - only in the thoracic area if the leads are bipolar. Monopolar leads can arc through the heart and diaphragm, especially in the region described. Dead is not a fun way of spending the Labor Day weekend... But it's a good idea - it's how I was able to rebuild my intercostals after having most of them cut to remove steering wheels from my chest...

Stay away from the asprin and go with motrin. Once a joint has dislocated, its rather easy for it to slide out of place again. The muscles have to be re-taught to hold it in the correct place. A physical therapist can usually get things back into the right place with one session of some easy manipulations. There are some easy stretching motions and excersises that can help hold things in place and ease the pain and soreness...I will get back to you as soon as I talk to my wonderfully helpful PT lady who is coming over this evening.

g'night y'all. for all those father's out there, this weekend is father's day down under, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! a poignant day for me as my dad died this year, and its also his birthday this weekend. and my kids are both with their father. so if i pester the boards more than usual, u know why! [:)]

Hey yall, e01n - its probably no suprize that I loved the rathergood pussy plus links. Had to send them all on to my San Fran friends - cooks, artists or musicians ya know how it goes. Try to stay away from man made products as they are not as effective. These are none addictive and work. The valerian root is used, it is crushed and put into capsule form! They can be taken any time of the day, but when first using them you should only take them before bed, only take one, never more than 2 in one does. Also do not take them day after day, every other day, or miss out 2+ days. Your body will relax when you have taken these this will take effect after about 2 hours, so take one have a bath and relax! These are also none addictive and can be taken with other medication, but please seek medical advice before doing so, I am not a qualified doctor. These are a mussel relaxant, hope it works!
