Of the people on here that claim to have a high profile job actually do? It happens so often I'm starting to think it's just an excuse for people who don't want to post or send pics...

How would you know what kind of job they had if they didn't post?  i don't have a "high profile" job and i don't send pics either - i don't see the need to unless i am comfortable to do so, and thats at my pace not what some dom wants or thinks he can demand of me.  i am not sure i understand what you gripe is?

The only time I'm "high profile" is when I'm out at the pool.

Wow, you have no idea what I was trying to say. Like, 30 percent of the men I talk to on here have no pics, and when I ask to see one they tell me they don't feel comfortable posting one or sending one in case it leaks to somebody in their company. And I 've come across quite a few profiles that explain that they don't send pics because of their 'high profile' or 'sentsitive' job. It's not like they're Johnny Depp or George Bush.

My problem isn’t my job; it’s having an ex-hubby who might try to use it against me, in an attempt to fight for custody of the UMs. I’ve learned when trying to avoid battle; it is not wise to give to opposition ammunition.

Have you ever stopped to think that it might actually be Johnny Depp or George Bush?  I'm sure they'd both be popular, one as Dom and the other as a sub.  (One of them already has made a career of being a whipping boy...)

For me, I don't post a picture on my profile but will make one available upon request.  I try to keep it current that way.  And that way, I can send the appropriate picture depending on their request (G, PG-13, or XXX)

  This is total BS because I have a clearence and can still send pictures. I have one on my profile also. I cant imagine what runs through peoples minds. Maybe they are spies or something???. NOT

if my Master had not posted His pic i would still be "searching for that home". would still be vanilla. it was His pic that caught my eye,it was my pic that caught His in such a way that He decided i would belong to Him even before He saw me in R/L.

who knows maybe it is GW....nah... he's not smart enough

well, your picture on your profile is your avatar.......not a spread in vogue, the airport security people couldn't find you unless you were posed just like that, LOL.

But I always wondered what the big deal about a picture is, insides quivvering and people thinking that others care or can eat more of their power than they can.

Shit, if it ever was Johnny Depp I think I should be shooting myself right now :) But I just think it's unlikely that ALL these men have such sentsitive jobs that a single photo of them on a site like this would be their demise.

Maybe they are just buttugly and think you are really too hot for them......

Personally, if they cannot give you a nice clear face photo, I wouldn't give them the time.

It is a rule of mine, I have shown my face........you show me yours. Simple really.

OR, they are afraid the wife will find out.

For me, it's because, one, working in a hospital exposes me to a lot of people on a daily basis.  People come in through the emergency room and outpatient clinic, see me, and associate me with someone they have to trust.  And two, because I do perform with a local dance band and I don't need someone recognizing me from my photo I've posted on CM and thinking, "Hey, the singer's a kinky bitch!" and then waiting for me in the parking lot.

You're right, chances are they aren't Johnny Depp or George Bush, however, it's all relative, in their world, from their perspective they are in a high profile job.  Whatever their position is in their company, they feel it would have drastic consequences for them if one of their co-workers found out about them.

percentage = statistic

anyway, not everyone who has personal reasons for not disclosing a pic has a high profile job. and im sure the percentage of people who actually have the job they claim to have is somewhere along the same lines as the percentage of  hot 22yr old females in california that post in the chatrooms.
