i'm absolutly sure i'm not a prostitute. i always gave it away for free.
sometimes i even paid for the hotel room myself.

actually prostituion in tourist places is a big problem down there.. there is no harm in a hotel trying to retain its reputation

The joke, as far as I can tell, was the asking of the gaurds bit. The sign itself is probably needed, the way it is worded is the source of laffs.
