fungasm -> Women who've hired a Dom or Domme: Any Suggestions? (8/17/2007 7:50:24 PM)

I'm doing something I've never done before.  I'm going to hire someone I've never met to flog me in pro session.  Normally I've gone to folks I know from my "normal" life- but while they are pros- they also hold back because they know me.

Any suggestions?  I know several women have posted here that they have done this.  I'd love to hear what your experience was.

Thank you in advance!

Alison

Yes, tell us in detail. Include pictures if you have them. [:)]

I haven't gone to a pro, but hope to do so soon (in the next few months). I have been asking around for advice and one thing that was mentioned to me was a "Safe call". (Don't know if you've heard of it. If you have, me apoligies for nattering on.) Basically, part way through your scene, you stop, get untied, and call a pre-arranged someone at a pre-arranged time and give a pre-arranged code phrase. If you give the right phrase, they know you're alright and will be staying. Give the wrong one and they know to call out the national guard.

Kind of an "incase of kidnapped by psycho-Dom/me and tortured" thing.

*Shrugs*

Good luck and I hope you have fun.[:)]

*sigh* where were all these cute girls when I was running sessions? Dang...

Uh, to add something semi-relevant, I would try and be sure to communicate that you're trying to be pushed, your level of experience, and the fact that you are specifically going to her to get in touch with more of your endurance/toughness than your friends are giving you because of personal connections. I know that I would probably tend to buddy up to a female client, even subconsciously, and I'd want to know if I was required to combat that impulse a bit and really keep it focused on how you want to be made uncomfortable rather than reassured and made totally comfortable, if that makes sense.

I have considered it for years.  To infiltrate myself into testing my own tolerance etc.  But realized that I couldn't place myself in a position of submission and behave/act submissive properly and thoroughly knowing that man was a Dom was for hire.

Wow!  [sm=banana.gif]

I myself need an intimate, personal bond with a dominant to put myself in a position of submission.

But more power to you, fungasm! Please do let us know how it goes... [;)]

My suggestion is either go to a reputable Dungeon/House and/or get references about the Pro. Not everyone who calls themselves a Pro has skill, training or safety knowledge. I know a "Pro" in southern CA who has put two men in the emergency room. I also had one woman who had been advertising on CollarMe as a Pro for eight months ask my advice on buying her first flogger..... If they can't give you references or a way to check their reputation, then look elsewhere.

I wish you the best of  luck. So far I haven't had any female clients, but I hope to see that change.

Definitely set up a safecall, if possible do an interview before the session so that if the person creeps you out you can bow out gracefully, make sure you discuss safewords with the pro.

This spring I attended SELF (SouthEast leather Fest) and this fall will go to Dom Con, both in Atlanta. I mention it because such events are held in major metropolitan areas around the country.

The events hire noteworthy pros to come in and conduct workshops, demos, etc. for those attending.

Some/many of these pros also indicate they are available for sessions while in town ... these are skillful, reliable people (women/men) and would be a terrific resource.

Hope this helps.
(Prof.) Joe
