Would you believe I bought an original vilolwt wand made in the 1920s at a yard sale for seven bucks. Works perfectly.

Hello Gamboling, Congratulations, yes its possible to buy a Violet Wand from the 1920's at a yard sale or fleemarket for a few dollars. But be very carefull, certain parts of this device, certainly the wax capacitor, are potentially very dangerous and thus make it dangerous and very risky to use. These parts should immediately be replaced by modern parts. After that's being carried out, I may bring you for many years pleasure of use. And this advice didn`t cost you any dollars!
