(laughing) I think the blades that come with the saws are designed to shear off if you hit an obstruction or go even a little bit side-ways, so they're not a good starting point for a mount. I've lost count of how many I've broken cutting soft wood. I've seen a cheaper vacu-lock adapter somewhere... I'll have to dig around and see if I saved the page. It was plastic instead of machined aluminum, around $20USD if memory serves. Edit: it looks like it's rubber, not plastic. You'd have to knock out the snaps, but it'd give you a somewhat flexible mount once you'd adapted it to the saw. It's merely the adapter for a strap-on harness, $9 online. http://www.vac-u-lock.com/detail/1/3/3/144/99/VAC-U-LOCK-PLUG-WITH-SNAPS.html I'll second the motion on a speed-controlled saw. You can get an after-market speed control, but it'll end up costing more than buying a better saw would. One of my brothers runs a 'screw machine' at a machine shop, but it's nothing like the sander above! [sm=lol.gif]
