I've heard of this bizarre stories happening to people, as you describe.  Have to be careful when playing with strangers. This why I take my good old sweet time getting to know somebody first.  I don't get into heavy scene play right away.  Video tapes, hahaha...  I'm not up for this right away either.  One, how the hell do I know if that tape would be somehow used for blackmail, or for display on a Pay per view website on the internet?  So many reasons why not to video tape things.

I've heard stories about people playing together for the first time, and the sub/slave turns around and blackmails them for money or is gonna be calling the police.  She is nice and bruised and marked up.  Ummm... something said about not playing really rough right away.

What is scarey, is that you could simply have Vanilla Sex with somebody, and they could pull the same stunt.  Blackmail you and threaten to call the police for kidnapping, Rape and etc...  All the evidence of having had sexual activity.  I suppose having a video tape to prove you were not raping her would work in your favor though.

Anyway, you slice it.  Some people are vicious con-artist, blackmailers, or people with hidden agendas or mental issues.

Hell, a guy picking up a married women at a bar for a night of consenting mind blowing sex, can be accused of kidnapping and rape, especially if her husband tracks her ass down the motel.  Some women resort to telling this lie inorder to avoid divorce court or it being the end of their marriage.

All this shit happens in the real life, and the truth is often stranger than fiction.  Basically, the more you play with strangers, your odds of this increase.   Taking time getting to know somebody, and what you are dealing with priceless.

Personally, I've heard of, and nearly fallen victim to this once.

The issue at hand, isn't one of 'is this activity risky.'  Some people live their whole lives with heart defects, and never really learn about it until they have the most mind blowing orgasm of their life... bound, gagged, cuffed, and covered in whip marks.  This lovely sub might have only had service and obedience in mind when his/her ticker gave out.

The question we then ask, is "I understand am I willing to accept this risk."  I believe this is why most 'lifestylers' replaced 'SSC' with 'RACK' some time ago.

Playing with strangers is a high risk activity.  Some people accept that risk, and actively seek it.  Some people like to dive into pools, other's leap out of perfectly functioning airplanes.  So long as those risks are clear, and accepted, and are not inherently dangerous to anyone else, I say go for it.

BruisedHick,

I don't see anything inherently D/s about this.  It's a Kink, that may (or may not) have D/s undertones.  I can say I've certainly enjoyed a number of kink related actitivites that included more than one person.  The issue here isn't the relationship, it's the kink.

Yes and  no.

I think the examples discussed were consensual D/s relationships Vs. being whored out.

The point I was making is that your example of a first date gone wrong is not really in the relationship category, just as a one night stand is not.

That having been said, I think we see eye to eye.  It's all risky, just some more than others, and some people welcome one risk faster than they accept another one.

[/quote] There used to be, maybe still is, a television show called something like "Cops" and my kids would watch it and we would laugh at the utter stupidity of some of those people. Sometimes I am reminded of that show while reading these forums.

I have learned a lot from that show. For instance, did you know you can significantly reduce your chances of getting arrested simply by wearing a shirt?

Risk:
each person dating by net, and not only here do something risky.
But meeting with stranger can be under control of Dom/mistress
or third person can be stranger for slave/sub but not for, Dom.
And paying can be fake.

Slave thinks is hired or forced to escorting.

Indeed. Mind-blowing sex is a risky activity, whether BDSM is involved or not. And sometimes it's literally mind-blowing (veins bulge on partner's head, a weak blood vessel in the brain bursts, dead).
You know how many people die in bed? Not all of them were sleeping at the time, death during sex is more common than most people think. Imagine that you are a podgy couch potato, and then an old girlfriend turns up, and suddenly you're launching yourself into the equivalent of running a marathon, with no warmups, no coaching, and no intention of stopping no matter what odd things your heart seems to be doing. If you have any vulnerability to heart failure, that's when it's gonna happen.

Great sex is a high-risk activity, period!
