I went to bed around 10 ... was soOoOo tired ... couldn't fall asleep easily though ... and then at 5 am I am wide awake ... seems to be the story of my life lately yawns

Thats what you get for not sleeping the night before! I slept ok until the dogs woke me up at 3am...apparently she didnt like the armadillo that was trying to get under the house.

I couldn't fall asleep and then when I was about ready to go teh damn thunder picked up. Dating back to childhood I can not fall asleep if there is a lot of thunder. I know, pretty juvenile, but its how I am. So I was awake for another hour til that part of the storm died down. ugh

I love to watch the hard rain, watch how the wind blows the drops sideways and how the lightning illuminates the whole process in a flash.. The ums and I love to count the time between the lightning flash and the crack of thunder.. I tell them the thunder is g-d having band practice..

Same as typical. I was awake about 3 times last night. After living in California for so many years. I sleep with a loaded 38 within arms distance. Still today every little noise wakes me up. Lightning last night, no precip just lightning.

I slept of when I slept but the dogs woke me up when the storm started here, they are both afraid of them, so at 6:30 I was up and still drunk.
