Perhaps he means 'Man' in general?  As is all 'Man' Which, in and of itself is grammatically incorrect.

What I'm curious about is, why, in his profile it says he wants someone who is 'preferably one that is not entirely civillized and wild at heart' but yet he expects all women to be docile, and angelic?
