I like yogurt (the sugar free or NSA kinds) so the yogurt smoothies taste fine to me, but I don't drink them for other reasons than taste.  To each their own.

I think anything from McDonalds would be bound to suck.

And I can't imagine a pecan yogurt smoothie, but the raspberry ones mask the sourness of the yogurt pretty well.

I love the smooties....try something with berries in it.  I've never had any pecan smooties.

I make mango strawberry and yogurt smoothies for breakfast.....I use this greek strained yogurt stuff that tastes nasty by itself, but the fruit covers the taste real well. Any fruit, especially frozen fruit, works good to sweeten things

You can have some fun with it in your own kitchen.  I really do not like the texture/taste of yogurt, but once found a recipe that worked out really well...

half a container of one of those vanilla yogurt cups -- throw it in the blender
some frozen strawberries -- toss it in
a bit of banana slices -- its starting to look messy now
a little bit of firm tofu -- tofu doesn't really have a taste, and who would really want to eat it? but it adds that "thick" factor (and i say little bit because a lot of tofu means you are so full you can't eat for another 12 hours and you walk around groaning and rubbing your belly like someone who just kicked a full barrel of Schlitz on their own)
and sometimes I feel like a splash or three of O.J., sometimes not.
Blend
Pour
Wash out blender immediately -- clean up is vital. (experience talking)

Yeah, I'm not much of a cook. lol
But it tastes delish.  With the vanilla yogurt (or, plain I guess) and the tofu for body, you could mix it up with any fruit you like..I have been thinking of peaches....

Never tried a pre-made yogurt drink -- not brave enough.

Yeah... pecan prune doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Smoothies are alright sometimes. I prefer blueberry, strawberry, and whatnot. I think the ones I make myself taste better and are healthier since they don't have added sugar. I'm lazy, though, so I don't make em much. I prefer soy yogurt anyway.

Yogurt smoothies are good with fruit. I'm growing fresh raspberries. Delicious! I'd skip on the pecans. I think that's where you went wrong.

Try flax seeds.  They won't hurt your stomach and are a natural way to grease the wheels, so to speak.

For gods sake, yogurt, prunes and pecans?  That makes me gag just thinking about it.

I like the taste of smoothies just not the texture.  So I tend to put them in the "suck" category.
