Im sure this has probably already been discussed on CM, but since Im a total loser when it comes to the search function, I didnt really find anything. I did find tons of links on anal sex in general, and a bunch of rather humorous jokes about hemmoroids and perfect assholes...but nothing real serious..... I used to really enjoy anal, both for just the sensation, and from the submissive feeling... After my first pregnancy almost 8 years ago, I had alot of trouble bleeding after bowel movvements, and lots of pain and irritation. After a good bit of time I healed up enough to be able to have anal sex again without pain. During the last 3 years I have had two more babies, and with each pregnancy, the problem keeps getting worse. Now its to the point we havent even tried to attempt anal. My youngest is now a year old, and Ive stopped bleeding with every bowel movement, but still do occasionally if I have to strain or something. Is it possible to continue anal in some way without causing the bleeding or pain? Are there any significant risks? (Not talking STD's, only concerned about this with my husband)....

well the blood pressure runs up, and hemmies are common after pregnancy, prep H alot and things like that or go see a doctor. No particularily serious disease if you know that you aren't pooping out bubonic plague and he hasn't been porking mountain gorrillas or anything. Ron

Go see a doctor and have the hemorrhoids removed. Proctologist or colon-rectal are the specialists. I've had internal hemorrhoids rubber banded which ties off the veins, eventually they dry up and fall off and everything comes out naturally. But get someone else to drive you home, and you bring a cushion to sit on. This is not a painless procedure in my experience. Personally I like getting a scrip for half a dozen painkillers at the consult and then I take one about an hour before the procedure.

I thought they did this using laser surgery these days, cauterizing the hemmoroids and greatly reducing the recovery time? Obviously, something that's not at all my area of expertise... - pixel Collared to Majik

this is just hearsay and I am probaly confused on this ...but isnt gentle stretching and dilating good for hemmoriods ?

I'd see a specialist about having them removed like previous posters mentioned, I'm very...uh....anal....about my physical health, and so anything that causes me discomfort gets seen by my GP at the very least.

Id go if I had insurance......but right now Sir pays almost 400$ a month just for the boys insurance, if he added me to the insurance policy, it would go up to about $1000 a month, and we just cant afford that right now...

i would try adding fiber - lots of it to my diet so you never have to strain during a bowel movement. That is what irritates and creates hemmoroids.

You may also consider a relaxing lube, that may make it less painful. Like one that disensitizes a bit.

Ouch - been there... you have my sympathy. I had them too high and low for the banding procedure that Celeste mentioned, they had to be cut away - ouch ouch ouch - six days in hospital to recover and a follow up operation to make them pretty again which was only an overnight stay. My operation was mainly performed because the docs wanted to reduce the pressure on a fissure (cut) which I didn't know I had until I saw a consultant - I just put the bloodloss down to the hemmoroids.... have you been checked out for this? If its just hemmoroids you have, I would suggest just blasting them with the strongest cream possible every chance you get, try not to go down the operating route unless you really really have to. If its a fissure then a very mild form of GTN cream is sometimes used to increase bloodflow in that area which apparently increases healing rate - it was a trial when I was using it and it did help. Anyway, I gave it about a year after all my ops and introduced myself very slowly and carefully back into the anal sex, everything has been fine since, but I always keep a tube of cream handy should I get a flare up again. I hope you sort them out - they can be so annoying and painful.

Greetings, Try Butchers Broom for Hemmorhoids, it's an herb and you can make suppositories out of it that work wonders on shrinking hemmorhoids. One of it's main properties it is increases vascular strength. Since hemmorhoids are thought to come from weaknesses in vessels it works on that. It's most effective taken anally. i tihnk i may have a recipe around here somewhere. <~ doula and budding herbalist
