Like A Moth To The Flame You danced around me, your words soft and subtle, Ensnaring me, trapping me like a moth to a flame, Drawing me into you, your words promises of passion I came to you that day, full of hopes, dreams, and fears, And you banished away the darkness with your soft voice, Your words the light that carried me along on waves of ecstasy In you I sensed a kindred spirit, one I could lean on when I was down, A friend, a companion, a lover and a soul mate, Someone to walk with me, not in front of me, or behind me And yet somehow I sit here more alone than when we started, For I have committed the ultimate folly, the ultimate sin, I have let myself fall in love with you, being a foolish little moth For like that fragile creature that batters itself to death against the glass, Or flies uncaring into the open flame, drawn by its promised heat, I find that in the end, the flame needs more fuel than I alone can give it And I watch with hurt and pain, as you draw yet another moth into the flame, Unknowing, or worse yet, knowing the depth of the pain you cause me, Yet you are the light, that draws the moth to the flame lunasidhe

Deep in the soul, below pain, below all the distraction of life, is a silence vast and grand - an infinate ocean of calm, which nothing can disturb;
