Sounds like you're human. Honestly, everything going on in your life will come into play here. Getting sick? Makes it more difficult for me. Stress levels high? Ditto. And don't even get me started on hormone fluctuations.

Age can be a factor too.
I have always wished that Orgasms lasted longer though.
Wouldn't that be great ? The five minute spasm. That would send you to sleep happy.

There could be several factors that may be coming into play.  I have found that where my mind/focus is plays a huge part.  If I'm distracted by the stresses of life, it will be more difficult for me versus if I turn off my mind and focus on him.

Are you recently on any medications?  Sometimes that affects it, too.

Having good days and bad ones is apart of life.

So, how often do you try to have an orgasim? It's not like we're meant to cum on demand every 20 minuets. We all should get some rest and nutrition everyonce in a while bofore going at it again.

Other than taking some time off, different positions and current state of mind can come into play. Being in the mood and having the right spots hit at the same time makes a difference.

Try having an orgasm instead. It might be easier.

Not to worry ... we all have our good days & bad days.  The last sub I played with, asked if she could cum ... and I said "Not yet" ... so, like a good girl, she put it off ... THEN, when I gave her permission, she couldn't cum for a while.  But when she finally did, she lost count (I'm jealous.  Wish I could cum so many times that I'd lose count!).

Hi,

As mentioned by others here, stress, nutrition, hormones, current state of mind, how often you do it, etc. can all play a role in the ability to achieve orgasm.  Additionally, certain medications can impact that as well, though you didn't mention whether or not you are taking any.

Well illnesses can cause problems also. And as you said you aren't taking your meds, that is something to consider.

If you don't think mental or emotional illnesses are true illnesses, then you need to educate yourself.

Prozac is used a lot because it's off patent, being the first SSRI, so it's cheap. But it doesn't target direct illnesses the way so many of the other SSRI's do. For panic attacks, Paxil usually works better. Personally I took Zoloft for depression and found it very effective for that. I had some trouble reaching orgasm while on it, meaning it took longer than otherwise, but before it I had zero sex drive. And a lowered libido due to mental illness will interfere with ability to orgasm.

However many medications stay in the body for over six weeks including most of the SSRI's. So if before you were on the Prozac you didn't have these difficulties and now you do, probably it is the Prozac.

It is not a good idea to suddenly quit any medication without speaking to the doctor first. Because with some of them, doing so abruptly instead of tapering down causes major side effects. As far as the Prozac not working, CALL YOUR DOCTOR! Don't just leave the illness untreated. Call and explain what it isn't doing, what the side effects are and ask to be switched to something different. And give them a six week trial to get fully into the system before deciding it isn't working.

Your family doctor wouldn't have given you a presciption for Prozac or any other medication he did not feel was necessary.  You absolutely must take the medication on time every single day without fail.  It must build up in your system to certain levels and those levels must be maintained once reached.  If the Prozac is not working for you, then another anti-depressant can be tried in its place.  Some of these medications can make sexual arousal and orgasm more diffcult.  However, that is no reason to stop taking them.  Many people feel better after taking these meds for awhile and believe they don't need them, when the reality is that the medication is doing its job as it should and that's why they feel fine.

if you think about it and worry than you'll have problems, have a lot of foreplay to get you in the mood and stop worrying about it cause constantly thinking about it will affect you too..

Yeah, I have trouble with orgasums too. It's so difficult to count when I'm that worked up!

Really, there's a bajillion things that could effect how easily you have an orgasm. Where you're at hormonally, how relaxed you are, how amped you are, if you've been at it a lot and may be a bit desensitized, worrying about it, meds, health.... the list goes on.

Just relax and focus on what feels good.
