ORIGINAL: Sinergy First off, a bruise occurs from damage to an area which results in blood vessels breaking and flooding the area with blood. Lacking oxygen, the blood vessels die and turn blue. The bodies response to this is to cut off blood flow to the area (platelets wall off the area) while the body works from the outside in to reestablish blood flow to the area. And yet, I can't bruise at all, if I'm really channeling the impacts correctly. It really doesn't matter how hard I get hit, or anything, the next day they are flat out gone. I can also tell at impact if I'll have a bruise, just by the way I've processed the impact itself, so if I haven't really dove in and channeled the force or just am not able to hit that point where I change how my bpoy reads sensation (and I am definitely not like most people in how I do that LOL) like I should have, it *will* bruise. I'll try that rubbing thing if there's ever a time where a bruise or mark is a *bad* thing, but really, they are more like nice reminders. The only reason I consciously channel them away is because then I can take far more intense play and for longer periods than I'd be able to otherwise. And damn, does it ever work out some serious angst LOL. Too bad it's such a damn struggle to even get to the point where I can even get to the headspace to get to that side of me. Guess it just means I appreciate it all that much more, eh? lol ~ShadeDiva
