analvirgin -> Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 6:04:57 PM)

Hiya, first post *waves*.

I was wondering, how long is it safe to leave wooden clothes pegs on nipples for?

Thankyou. :)

Estring -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 6:16:12 PM)

I've left them on my slave's nipples for 5 to 10 minutes with no adverse effects. She does scream very loudly when I remove them though.

analvirgin -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 6:17:15 PM)

thank  you so much.

do they leave lasting marks or bruises?

Estring -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 6:23:41 PM)

No, not from that short of a time. I would imagine you could keep them on longer, but I so love to hear my slave scream when I remove them that I don't usually keep them on longer than a few minutes.[;)]

You are very welcome. Keep up the posting as well.

Sakone -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 6:32:40 PM)

Well I have left them on mine for over half an hour with a weight on it as well. He stated it hurts move to remove them then it is to have them on. It left no mark of any kind on him or lasting effects.

A good rule of thumb is nothing on(clamps/pegs/etc)  for more than 20 minutes. Only after they build up tolerance can you advance.  Remember that anything that clamps is restricting bloodflow. Learn the other person well.  Dead tissue is not fun.

analvirgin -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 7:03:22 PM)

ok, i'll bear all that in mind.

can i ask another question?

is it safe to put ice in the vagina and anus?

SirStephan55 -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 7:12:44 PM)

Have done it for 5-10 minutes and she had to slap them off. Alos used rubber bands for about 20.

amelliagrace -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 7:24:45 PM)

Ice used in the vagina and anus, in and of itself, is not a problem.  What one must be concerned with is the potential for lacerations.  Rounded pieces of ice are best, for this reason.  Removing the ice, or "fucking' with a piece of ice, can also be problematic, with an increased likihood of cuts, as opposed to simply allowing the ice to melt.  Unless, of course, the ice is rounded and smooth, or something on the order of a "cockcicle" made  with a condom.

Very large pieces of ice used intenally, which take longer than 5 to 10 minutes to melt, are more likely to cause temperature related tissue damage.  I can not speak wtih any degree of certainty about the length of time those tissues can be exposed to ice without damage, but I can say that I'm not aware of any cases of this occuring when the time fram was under ten minutes.

Edited to add that if someone is being completely irresponsible with internal ice play, hypothermia (usually mild) can result.  Not something that  I'd call "sane".

i've had them on for 30-45 minutes but it was said earlier that you should start slow and build up. And yes - it hurts a hell of a lot more to take them off than to leave them on. i'm usually begging for Him to just leave them. But, as was also said earlier, clamps restrict blood flow and dead tissue isn't fun.

feastie -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/3/2007 8:32:05 PM)

I am not really sure that one's tissue can become accustomed to lack of bloodflow.  I mean, lack of bloodflow is lack of bloodflow is lack of bloodflow.  The result will be the same if left on for too long; dead tissue.  It might be more of a question of how long someone can tolerate that restriction that can grow.  Exactly when the tissue will start to die is probably different for everyone, but one shouldn't push it too far.  I haven't heard of any nipple (or clit) transplants lately.

Pegs are different from pins. They have no spring. Personally, I have a hard time even keeping them on. As far as pins: I've worn them for up to two hours at a time with no adverse long term effects. I don't, however, wear them every day. Moderation and common sense are great guides for play time.

The other question regarding ice play: someone already mentioned the sharp factor. I think that often gets overlooked so would like to reiterate the care and caution which should be taken when dealing with ice. One way to alleviate that concern is to get yourself a kiddie ice pop maker, the plastic ones which make four pops at a time. Freeze your water in that, then remove the pops and run them under tepid water while turning them so they get nice and smooth. All the websites that I researched pointed to 20 mins as a timeframe to avoid frostbite. If you use the ice pops I mentioned, they're not going to last even 20 mins, so play to your hearts content. If you want to have some real fun, when the ice pops are getting slushy but not yet frozen, insert some juice from a ginger root into the middle. ::chuckles::

Have a blast!

Ikea makes a wonderful ice cube maker. The cubes are long, and thin, with rounded edges..heh heh absolutely perfect for popping into a boy or girl.
They're nto big. They'll melt before they do any harm but they're cute and fun.

Just a quick note on the ice play thing...
Have you ever taken out a tray of ice and touched a cube with wet fingers, and gotten stuck? Yeah. The moral of the story is that you`ll probably want to rinse a piece of ice before you stick it anywhere interesting, just to make sure.

Politesub53 -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/4/2007 5:13:00 AM)

I agree with Bitatruble. I have had a series of knee operations and always been told not to leave any ice packs on for more than 20 minutes maximum. Im thinking internal skin could be more sensetive to ice burns as well.

Bitatruble extoled the delights of ginger root, in a casual manner....

I love the way your mind works, lady!  Ginger is....versitile....and...ummm,....interesting.......

Haven't tried it in ice, but that is definitely going on my "Please, Sir, may we try XXXX one day if You think You'd enjoy it?" list.

sadomasokisti -> RE: Nipples and pegs? (9/4/2007 6:36:25 AM)

Where the skin is thin like on the cock and balls its easier to restrict blood flow with clamps than for example on the nipples. At least in my case.  Clover clamps over a hour on my nipples with out any ill effects but clothes pins on my ball sack over 20 minutes leaves dead skin.

Hi Celeste, we don't  use the word clothespins in the UK, (where the OP hails from), all our pins and pegs are called pegs. I expect the reference was for the springed ones.

Whatever they're called - I wouldn't like two hours [:)]
