ORIGINAL: ScorpioMaster I also thought you can block unwanted advances or hurassments from the person doing it. You can. The collarme.com email has a function to block a user. Granted, they can make another name and send, but it only takes four clicks to open an email, block the user and close the email. Well worth the effort, I think. It's certainly cut down on a lot of nonsense for me. Agreed. Takes a lot less time to block a user then it does to type the letter to the Mods. I would only involve the Moderators if a) the person was not only in violation of the accepted practices and b) presented what I believed a threat to other users, and I don't mean simply because -I- don't like them. I took an issue up with Professionals here who were strictly seeking clients, and were using collarme as a sort of free advertising for their 'businesses.' The mods didn't agree with me, so we live and let live (not that I have a problem with Professionals with advertisements - just that if I ran a website development company, I wouldn't join a personals site and run 'website development' ads - but that's a topic for another fight on another thread.)
