To the OP:

Have the doc do a blood workup.

You want testosterone, prolactin, SHBG and TSH tested, at a minimum.

Others, like LH, GnRH, FSH, etc., are a plus, but will generally reflect in the former.

Aside from everything mentioned above, zinc-rich foods can be helpful for drive and blood flow, and also regular strenuous cardiovascular exercise.  Improved circulation is good for the WHOLE body, including the little man. 
 
You might also consider a routine of meditation or relaxation/focus/self-hypnosis exercises, unrelated to sexual activity.  I suspect the ADD background may come into play more than you realize.

Of coure fun!  [:)]  But in all seriousness, I know they treat some phobias by exposing the one with the fear to the exact thing that they're afraid of.  Like snakes, or spiders, or flying.  They face the fear, and eventually become somewhat desensitized to it. 

Not that I'd want anyone to become desensitized to sex....

I would say to eat fish oil pills for a month or so to clean out the pipes and some vitimin Es as many IUs as you can get, go to GNC and get the mega men sup. and then after some cardio even 10 mins a day try out something like NO-Explode or naNO Vapor but read the warnings before you buy it, it causes your blood vessels to open up and enhances performance, its for working out and not sex but I bet it may help! you can also try some cayenne pills as well which raises your body temp and  I think dialates you vessels as well,  I dont like Drs much they just pump you full of shit and never fix the problems, as natural as possable is the best way, we as americans have a very unhealthy diet even though the FDA says we dont

Desensitization is progressive, windchymes.

Trying and failing costs more, conditioned-response wise, than trying and succeeding gains.
That is why one sets things up for a gradual progression.
Which is probably rather tricky in this case.
I'd still reccomend a visit to the doc.

You don't seem to like the idea of getting a doctor involved.  However in order to "fix" you that is exactly what you have to do.
It very well could be something as simple as psychological.  Could be physical and it even could be the meds.
The only way to determine that is by going to your doctor and asking.  So they can look into your meds (easiest and quickest way to find out)  Then looking to see if there is something physically wrong.  Very well could be.  A simple operation depending on what is wrong could fix you.
If all else fails it could be psychological.  Easily fixed as well however it may take a few sessions to dig deep into you to find out what is actually going on.
It could also be something as simple as touching yourself.  Stop it.  Many men get into a cycle of masturbation.  They do it so long and so frequently it is there own touch they crave.  When a foreign hand comes along they don't have the right touch.  So, easiest cure. Stop touching yourself and allow your body to get used to someone else. 
ED can be frustrating at times.  Yet you can get through this.
