Injection play - 9/9/2007 5:10:38 PM

I just recently discovered I enjoy injecting sterile fluids into my nipple. I use a 5/8 long 25 gauge needle to inject bacterostatic water. And I will inject multiple shots of 3 cc's each. Sometimes up to 4 shots per nipple. I love the sensasation but I am worried about the long term risks. Apart from the risk of infection which I take every precaution to prevent, what should I worry about? By the way I am male which I think factors in. So I am worried about the possible feminization of the breast tissue LONG TERM, stimulation causing lactation etc. Hell even cancer.

Any thoughts?

Bacterostatic water, you make your own?  If it were me I'd be using sterile saline.  Infusion play is quite common actually.
I somehow doubt you are going to "create" female breasts.  The skin will stretch and as long as you aren't putting so much in it that you can' t adjust back down to normal size.  I think you should be ok.

No idea on cancer risks.  However as an educated opinion I would imagine they are slim to null.  Saline is used everyday and people have never contracted cancer from it yet.
Use a new needle each time?

Yeah, I think the main risk would be infection. Use medical saline, latex gloves, clean the site before and after, and always use a new needle. You make look into getting a biowaste container for disposal of the needles.

For a safer way:  Buy yourself a penis pump with nipple attachments. That'll plump them up nicely.

Well that's reassuring. And yes - I use a new needle each session. Not nessesarily each 'stick' but the needle is sterile and my skin is sterile. No i don't make my own NaCl I just had some lying around when the urge struck me. Someone offline also recommended sterile saline. I'll look into that. of interest though, I am not going purely sub-q. This is directly through the center of the nipple into the chest and whatever gland may be there. Heck, I don't even know if males have a gland there! This is a practice I really like but not at the expense of being perminently deforming which, as it sounds, isn't the case. Any more thoughts on this?

Not quite the same experience as seeing my chest round out almost looking like breast and feeling the water swish back and forth. The effects last the better part of the day and at any point I can reach up and grab my own little titty lol

men actually have the same breast tissue as women do, just not as much.  this is why male-to-female transpeople can grow their own breasts once they are on hormone therapy.  and there have been cases of men lactating, also, even enough to suppliment mom's contribution on breastfeeding an infant.

kitten, who says owwie on thinking about this, but if it makes you happy, you know?  just not for me.  :)

lol. It's actually not as painful as it seems it would be. In fact piercing the center and going chest-ward is less painful than a laterial, all-the-way-through side to side piercing. The injection part is actually soothing feelng but as you say, it's not for everyone. Too each their own. :)

I personally wouldn't advocate going thru the nipple proper.  There is tissue there that is muchly more easily injured than going laterally just outside the margins of the aureola.  Injecting fluid that way will cause the nipple area to protrude nicely.  Also sterile water for injection, as opposed to sterile saline for injection, is much more of a tissue irritatant.  Long term use of sterile water might have some unpleasant consequences like cellulitis.

I do not believe there will be any serious health consequences if you are using aseptic technique. The only consequence I can imagine is the formation of scar tissue since you are going through the same area multiple times. How deep are you injecting? Are you going straight down through the nipple for 5/8"? You might possibly hit lymph tissue and cause a small blockage, but that's about all I can think of in that area with 5/8".

Actually, the one advantage you have with bacteriostatic water is you can withdraw multiple doses from the same vial (with a new needle each time obviously), whereas most sterile water or physiological saline bottles are designated as single dose (take what you need and discard the remaining amount) since they do not have a preservative. However, if you are doing this frequently, make sure that the solution is isotonic.
