So, my pet and I recently gave female condoms a try, and we quickly realized two things that might be good for the BDSM community in particular to be aware of:

1. They don't work well with the woman on top

and

2. They're terrible for rough and/or fast-paced sex.

I did quite a bit of research before trying them and heard about a number of problems with FC's, but these two never came up, so I thought it'd be prudent to alert the rest of you. I'll also be sending an e-mail to the company that makes them.

Female condoms have two strong audiences.
#1 those interested in anal sex who are particularly concerned about Hiv transmission (remove the inner ring for this use)
and
#2 those who need more surface area coverage during vaginal sex.

It takes a little practice getting used to them in some situations although I have heard of plenty of rough sex involving them without incidence.
The biggest complaint i hear on a regular basis when teaching my sex ed classes is hatred of that "plastic baggie" sound.

Hmm........they might have interesting uses with garters, and humiliation play.

Save your money, just shove a big baggie up there... it'll feel and sound the same.... Sad comment, but that's my perceptions.....
