As a female i am not comfortable with any kind of play during my period.  i am a heavy bleeder and have always been hyper vigilent about keeping clean and making sure there is no odor, something i am just very self conscious about.  i did have a dom once who didn't have many boundaries and wanted to help me over this "obstacle" and he went down on me during my period. You can only imagine my horror.  i made sure i was as clean as i could get and he concentrated on the clit and area above the opening. how would you say that? i engage in blood exchange, though not from the same source...and perhaps if i did want to be the reciever of blood i would want it from that source and if i were a Top not a bottom the blood would come from the same source...or are you bringing up other discussions? cause if we are going there you have a lot more skeletons than i...

This is of course a "service" which these days requires fluid bonding to be safe.
I never much liked the tampon or pad play, but that is due to the hyper absorbing nature of these items.
I have very much enjoyed any form of period play which a dominant or a submissive woman would allow including oral, once I knew the person was safe to share fluids with.
LOL in the old days before HIV that was not a big concern.

I think that when your lover is really into you, he or she has no limits regarding bodily fluids. lol...there is an or in there....and he could be into giving oral service...thats not against the rules...(i know i snuck in and read the whole Domly handbook once...unfortunately i couldn't remember all 17 pages...so some places are a little vague)
