Hi. I'm a middle-aged dominant hetero male in the Maryland/DC area (but I frequently hang out in NYC). I'm a musician and writer; sort of the college-professor type, although I'm not a college professor. I was brought up in the South and I'm not conservative but I'm a gentleman.
I'm unfamiliar with "the lifestyle", although I've played games of a D/s kind (mainly verbal/online) with women for years.
The women I've played with tell me I'm good, but when I read about Doms "training" their subs I'm not really sure what it means... I've always just made things up, or drawn on the woman's fantasies. How do you learn this Dom stuff? Not by being a sub, I hope; 'cause I don't think I have the gene for that... :)
