LightHeartedMaam -> Younger Men/Older Women (9/13/2007 1:36:00 PM)

(This post could be appropriate in so many categories here, so I’m posting it here and the mods can move it where they feel it belongs.)

This is about young men seeking older women and the reason some older women don’t take to them.

Why do young men seek older women?  Is it because they hope to learn something they can leave with and use with another younger female, leaving the older woman?

Is it that they have hear that older women are better because the guys chant “they don’t swell, don’t tell and as grateful as hell”?  (uh~ No ONE is grateful for quick, bad sex) LOL

I’ve never been drawn to younger men (and by younger,  I mean 15+ years) because I’d feel I was just an extension of what his parents should have taught him.

I’d be constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I have always been attracted to men between 22 - 35.  I was when I was eighteen  and I still am now that I'm 3?.  I don't think that will ever change for me.  I figure that if I'm in my sixties and searching out a man I'm certainly going to check out that age bracket first.

My heart weeps for the unborn children of this world....If they only knew what horrors await them they would all miraculously self abort.....Feti, save yourselves from the anguish that is Aileen's old flappy tits and twat.

It's not to late to still vote for Whitney.

When you are in your 60's, what do you feel you will have to offer them that will keep them content?

I have consistently been with older woman since the age of 17 when I moved into a girlfriend’s house and she was 26.  After that experience I was unable to date woman my own age at all because their outlook on life and sex in general just did not match mine.  It was hard after we split to go from mortgage and a family to feed to what I considered then to mundane and shallow attitudes of the younger woman.  The feelings also extended to my male friends where I had very few that were my own age.  Most of them ranged to 7-10 years my senior.  Now that I am 39 I look less and less at age as a factor and look more towards personality.  I say that but again the last time I was with a younger woman it was when I was 26 going through a divorce and a little 18 year old that was a coworker wanted to date me.  When ended up in the sac of course and although she looked like model material I just couldn’t hit it off with her at all.  She was horrible in bed as well and the whole thing was just a mess that reinforced what I had learned at 17.

Looking back on it all I wish I hadn’t done it.  I missed out on a lot of life because I just kind of skipped over those early 20’s years giving it up for responsibility and a greater sense of control and more romance and sex however I had a really tough time.  For me being with an older woman has just always been a mater of compatibility not so much a matter of choice.
As to how the relationship was compared to one with my own age again I really cant say a whole lot.  I do feel I missed out on a lot but I can honestly say I have never thought of leaving a girlfriend that was older behind for one that was younger.  In fact the woman I just left was some ten years my senior and we were together for some eleven years and I had never cheated on her or anything like that.  I feel that relationships have very little to do with appearance or age (within reason).  Its more about the compatibility of the two people and I feel that is hard enough to find without adding other issues on top of it such as race, age, nationality or sir names.

I was being somewhat serious.  Plus,  I think that the appeal of someone  to someone who wants to date them is a combo of personality and looks.  I may age gracefully and I have a decent personality.   Or I may not.  If I can't get the twenty something year old then I know that something didn't stand the test of time.

I feel sorry for lightheartedmaam with her sad mind set "I'm old, therefore ugly".   Beauty is ageless, and youth is not always pretty.  Believe it or not not all men are shallow, and some of find character attractive.  I know, I know, this flies in the face of cultural stereotypes, men are not supposed to be smart and complex.  It's too bad some women are turned off by non-simplistic men.  Just because a man is attracted to an older woman does not necessarily mean he's looking for an easy lay.

Well hopefully you will still have something that a twenty year old might be lacking.....Cash!...Just think of you standing naked all wrinkeldy and shit...Explaining that in one of your ginormous orifices awaits for him a special gift...Nothing as exciting to a young boy as a rousing game of find the ipod.

How many long term relationships do you know of a younger man and older woman that haven't ended leaving the older woman alone- again?  I know there are guys out there that like older women.  What I question is- what motivates them?    I'mnot knocking it.

If you have some insight, I would appreciate it other than little sarcastic jabs.

FRSguy -> RE: Younger Men/Older Women (9/13/2007 2:13:41 PM)

If I was still 18 I would still do her (Aillen) ...LOL   Gums and all.

But I would have to piss on her afterwards [:D]

I agree with this from my first sexual attraction to my last my biggest has always been people in their mid forties to their mid fifties and I am now going back close to twenty years.

I do not think there is just one reason why a younger man might like a younger woman just like I do not think there is one reason a younger woman would like an older man.

Reasons a man might like someone older:

They just do.
A mommy thing
Attracted to a more overall mature and confident in whom they are and are about person.
Older is more taboo and therefore attractive.
Necessity of the population they are dealing with.
Easier way to deal with society and frown upon casual sex to hook up with a known ahead of time not going to happen long term arrangement.
Older can be and also can be confused as more dominant(do not mean this life per se) and a young man might like a more take charge/initiate person and thinks they can find it better in an older woman.

Also, I am guessing Alieen will be smoking hot in her sixties and still have no problem getting men of her choosing.

Most relationships end at some point ... age has nothing to do with it.

FRSguy -> RE: Younger Men/Older Women (9/13/2007 2:19:22 PM)

Where I am into suspention... I wonder if I get a woman that is a lot older and she sags but is really big... does suffication become a concern when they are hanging upside down?
