I saw it as a young boy it's about a knight who chooses between staying with his own people to fight the enemy.which he knows they will all have to fight in a final battle.But on the other hand on the side of the enemy is the love of his life.He chooses to swap camps joins up with the enemy ranks,and fights against his own people so that he can be with his love and also to make sure that she is kept in good health and well protected.

But unfortunately our hero dies in the final battle,it is a truly excellent film.I beleive it's quite an old film.But in saying that it si in colour.So if anyone can please help me out here with an accurate name for this film if so i really would appreciate it thanks very much indeed.For taking the time to read this thread,thanks very much indeed.

I am going to be totally unhelpful here...the only movies I can think of that had knights in them were Camelot and something about King Arthur and the knights of the round table or something.....oh hang on, maybe Camelot was a musical so I know even less than I thought!

This could be any film. There is this thing in Hollywood called the random film generator and what they do is basically stick in some basic parameters such as setting and names of characters and you get the same old generic storylines coming out.
