My lover-girlfriend-goddess says that I’m kicking and bouncing around violently in my sleep nowadays. This is new. Otherwise my sleeping pattern is the same as it has been for many years.

While I’m very happy in my relationship we’ve wondered if I’m having violently masochistic dreams, perhaps indicating some subconscious dissatisfaction or at least cravings. I used to fantasize a lot before we got together but do so very little anymore. Maybe the old fantasies have moved to nighttime. Pity I’ve never been one to remember my dreams.

Or it may have nothing to do with D/s and S&M at all.

But I wonder.

If you are self diagnosing that you might have a "subconscious" dissatisfaction, you probably are. Just ask yourself the question.

It probably has absolutely nothing to do with BDSM.

That's strange...i had the same experience fairly recently with my last Master. All was well at the time,,,and He told me i was kicking up a storm in bed while i was asleep. i had no idea. All i can tell you is, later on, i found out what is was for me. i was under stress
that i wasn't aware of during the days, and my body was releasing it at night that way. i was on overload, and now that i think of it, i wasn't doing any exercise, like walking etc.
Not sure that helped, or was anything like you were looking for, but it's all i have.

There's a LOT of reasons you could be doing it. Stress in life, job, relationship, dissatisfaction....the list goes on. I'd examine your entire life and not just focus on unfulfilled desires.
