Wow - one year as 'Mrs Merc'. Where did the time go?

I love you more today than one year ago, but not as much as tomorrow. You created a life for a man just putting in time. You define trust. You define happiness. You define contentment. I don't share life with you because that would mean splitting what comes from me and what comes from you is possible. I know it isn't. You are my life.  I'm confident that I am also yours.

Today we'll exchange simple presents, some other person's words in a card. (A 'Hallmark' of course!) We'll drink a bottle of champagne we saved from the ceremony and eat a piece of one year old wedding cake. We'll have a private romantic dinner and hold hands. It's good to mark the time with the traditional talisman.

Without you, there is only cynicism and doubt. With you - all is possible.

Thank you for having 'faith' enough for both of us and believing in us for 36 year without knowing that 'us' existed in separate parts separated on different coasts. You've made me believe. I love you for it.

I had decided not to post in the forums anymore....but this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.

That is absolutely OUTSTANDING.  What a heartwarming sentiment for the one you love.  Just when I feel love is a farce...someone proves to me that it is a real emotion.  Congratulations on your Anniversary.  Your post brought tears to my eyes.  Thank you for sharing.

I have read some of your posts and always admire the picture of you two. I love the way you are holding beth and the expression on her face. If a picture is worth a thousand words ,that definately demostrates it. It's tender possession and trust.
