what would everyone suggest as the best type of gag to muffle any sounds. i have a pump up gag but it tends to deflate by itself and the head harness ball gag is to lose, maybe the ball isnt big enough
i would welcome suggestions

I don't think there is a gag that will muffle all sounds. At a ravishment demo we once attended, the demonstrator mentioned this, along with the fact that the noises made by someone who is gagged will draw more attention than raised voices because we hear these sounds on tv and at the movies and associate it with someone being bound, gagged, etc. I don't know how true that is, but thought I'd toss it out :)

Packing cotton into the mouth will be good.

Just remember, the more you muffle the sounds, the harder it will be to get out and the higher risk of choking.

To me gags are more symbolic than anything. They do convey a sense of helplessness to the wearer. Packing a mouth is good, like with cotton, clean rags or panties. BUT, as Emerald pointed out, there is a risk of choking. Ballgags are nice but you really have to try different sizes.

Do not put too much into stories where there are mouth packed gags. This may be good as fantasy, and you should definitely use a play partner if wanting to use a packing type of gag. Safety is the highest priority, and should not be taken lightly. Self bondage can probably include tape instead of the other types of gags, as it is a safer but easy to remove type of gag.

You may be wondering how I know these things. Well I have done it to myself before I have done it to others. Personally I like the cleave gag, and ball gags for play.

Personally I do not like to be gagged. I hate it, and the gag is used as punishment or when my Domme is feeling a particular need to put me in my proper place. I tolerate the cotton… panties stuffing my mouth fairly well, but the only one I can handle for any length of time is a medium sized penis gag (with breathing tube) strapped around my head. At least with that one I can bite down and the drooling is not so bad. Naturally she gets to hear the muffled sounds that warm her heart.

That sounds right. I don't know of a gag that will muffle ALL sounds, and don't think there is one. People make sounds in their vocal cords, and gags don't affect the vocal cords.

The ones that muffle the most are the ones that involve insertions into the mouth, and those can be dangerous. Ball gags, penis-shaped gags, inflatables, and so on are usually pretty safe if they're (securely) attached to a strap. But something like stuffing a tennis ball into the mouth and then sealing it with duct tape is a lot more dangerous because the ball is free and could wind up blocking the throat. The same goes, of course, for cotton wads, panties, and so on. Bit gags tend to be a lot safer than insertable gags (especially for people with dental problems), but they allow more sound.

I find the best solution for me is a penile gag under my tight fitting deprivation hood. It forces me to close around the gag, and I cant move the jaw to allow for more sound.. and the deprivation hood pretty much blocks out the rest. My rebreather with triple inflatable wall hood will shut ya up too :]p

I personally like the O ring gag. It allows me to breathe when a guy doesn't have his cock in it.

I agree about not stopping all sounds, and being careful. How about Duct Tape and a breathing tube? I've been wrapped in Plastic (Head too) and had a breathing tube to use. Everything was taken real easy, and I had no problems, except for a dry mouth. My favorite is the Penis Gag, with the 2" in my mouth and 6" sticking out, to PLEASE MADAM (while I am blindfolded..of course). It dones't cut out all sound, but the moaning added pleasure to MADAM.

sleep is the best gag. simply gag her with her panties and tape and screw her brains out until she passes out and you'll have your silence. the woman earlier said it best, no gag is sound proof, so use the one that looks the best on her.

As mentioned, the vocal cords'll get you everytime. My favorite "quieter" type gag would be the ball with a leather panel in front. Compresses very nicely around the mouth when tightened down...

The very best gag that I have used is the basic

ball gag and use duct tape over gag. My slave knows when he has that put on he is in for a long evening.

OK - speaking of the o-ring gag....i've been told to acquire one for M, but the ones i've found seem cheaply made and it seems that they would provide unpleasant friction for Him where the straps attach to the ring (the edges of the leather straps seem somewhat stiff and protrude too much). Is this making any sense? Looking for one with a 1 3/4" inside diameter - any suggestions, anyone?

Hi Godess2Spank. A Ball Gag with Duct Tape? That sounds so neat. Do you have any pictures of that? HA HA HA

I guess it won't work with my Mustache though....OH WELL. Try a Trainer Gag (I have one). It has a Ball like a regular gag, but also has a strap that goes over the head, and hads metal rings on each side and the top...so you can hook Riens to it to play HORSEY !

To me the best gag are the leather panel gags The sure cause speech restriction and you only want to hear moaning anyways and the look great.

It doesn't matter how much you pack the mouth, sound also comes out of the nose. So unless you want her to stop breathing altogether, you will never be able to use a muffling device to stop her making noise.

On the other hand, if you could get one of those sound activated shocking dog collars to work on her, then she wouldn't WANT to make any noise! LOL

JUST KIDDING! I'm not even sure if those things are safe for human use, so I wouldn't endorse it unless you do the research and find out for sure.

What about those shock collars that keep dogs from barking. Im assuming these collars pick up on vocal vibrations through the neck and then give it a zap. Would definately discourage noise making :D

on this subject of best gag's, does anyone have any ideas where the best place is to get a penis gag, a half decent one at least?
