I don't think i could teach my Master anything he does not know. Master was taught by his very first sub how to be a good Dom. He is the best Master i could ever have dreamed of. No i could not teach him. Matt's littleone

I would never enjoy teaching from the bottom, and i do not consider teaching a potential partner about me...to be doing so. I've never believed that one could be "taught" to be dominant , in my mind, you either are...or you are not. It would lead me to the question of , how would a submissive teach a dominant to be dominant? Also, i enjoy some rather extreme play, so I've always felt it in my best interest to be partnered with someone who is experienced and enjoys the same type of play that i enjoy. Some may consider this as "limiting" i consider it no more than a preference, and we all have those. Edited to add.....this does not include life lessons in general..i enjoy learning as well as teaching...

I think the OP is not about teaching someone how to be dominant, but a skill set like flogging or wax play.

I already stated I agree with aquatic but will expand on being dominant and the passion for a power exchange life cannot be taught and certainly my comments and I personally hope most people comments are not tied into thinking that. When I refer to teaching/experience it is the toys, talking out and explaining the big picture of things, potential problems and other things that are in this life that we learn by doing.

In my reply i was not talking about teaching the Dom that i serve how to be a Dom, He already is one. He just didn't know there was a term for it, or anything else about the BDSM community, use of different toys, looking into Himself and seeing what it is He wants, that sort of thing. heartfelt

Talking to a new Dom, sure. Giving my thoughts, advice, sharing information, no problem. Playing guinea pig for them.... no. Call me selfish, i'm not willing to play with someone unless i know that they know what they're doing. "What do you mean i'm not supposed to punch you in the kidneys?" is NOT what i want to be hearing on my way to the hospital... lol ~kitty

I'm fairly sure I wouldn't want to be with anyone who couldn't teach me something(technique, or about life, or about myself, or about, well anything )....why can't a dom/master type feel the same way? It certainly doesn't make them less domly ...imho.
