I like the idea of making him think he is eating dog food by using a substitute

Could always make him eat my ex-wifes cooking...

LOL I could cook for him, that would most definitely be a punishment.  Have you thought about baby food instead?  Humiliating, but yet usually nutritional.

It would actually be pretty fun for me to eat baby food, provided it tasted of, if not yucky,

I have been training puppygirls for many years now, and mindgames can be just as effective! Yes, baby food, corn beef hash, Spam, beans and other meat products (make sure they are cooked!) work just fine, especially when you swap labels are previously mentioned. Coco puffs can be substituted for dry dog food as well, obviously tastes much better, but the look is the same and just make them eat it out of a bowl on the floor as a real k9 would. If you REALLY must have dog food, then choose a major brand, and read the label. Warning: too much canned dog food will give most people the runs and maybe other stomach problems.

Id stick with the potted meat or corned beef hash or something....I think If you made him smell the dog food first..it would work....Dog food is so bad I wont even allow my dogs to eat it, much less subject a human to it.
